Rehearsal Schedule:

Rehearsal schedule will be available soon after auditions. During tech week (the week before the show opens), there will be mandatory rehearsal EVERY evening from 5:30-9:30 PM. If this is too late for your child, please do not have them audition. Final dress rehearsal WILL go later, as it is a Friday evening.

PLEASE submit all conflicts on the back of your AUDITION FORM (NOT the Release or Participation Policy).  Note that NO CONFLICTS will be allowed for any performance or any day the week before the show opens unless cleared with the director at the time of auditions, and please note, as always, your conflicts may affect casting decisions.

Preparation:

Prepare 16-32 bars of an age appropriate song in your range that also shows off your acting skills! Prior to arriving for your audition, complete these three forms
– Audition Form
– Photo & Liability Release
– Production Participation Policy

It is preferred for the Audition Form to be filled out on a computer so that all fields are completed and legible. This form works best when downloaded and then opened and completed in Adobe Acrobat (not a web browser). Also please do not staple your forms together!

Arrive on the day of your audition at least 10 MINUTES early to sign-in at The Biz office and be sure to bring the following:

  1. A BACKUP TRACK OF YOUR SONG ON A PHONE (no vocals can be on the backup track).  You can bring SHEET MUSIC too, but an accompanist may not be available, so please be sure to bring a backup track.
  2. YOUR COMPLETED AUDITION FORM, SIGNED PHOTO & LIABILITY RELEASE, & SIGNED PRODUCTION PARTICIPATION POLICY
  3. ALL MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY CONFLICTS (including holidays) FROM December 18, 2026 – February 27, 2027 WRITTEN ON THE BACK OF THE AUDITION FORM. Please include any vacations! We require ALL cast members to be available for every night of tech rehearsals and ALL shows. (Conflicts added after casting may result in being asked to step down from the show.)
  4. DRESS NICELY, but bring CLOTHES THAT YOU CAN DANCE IN. We will hold a mandatory 30 minute dance audition after every 2 sets of singing time slots.
